Do it yourself: Avocado oil

I love avocados. So when I discovered how to get the goodness of the avocado in an oil, it was a sure thing to try out. I so love making things myself and being creative, that way I know what is in there.

So straight to our recipe for avocado oil

Step one: get your ripe avocados,  4 should produce at least a 50ml_100ml amount of oil

Step two:Cut open your avocado, It should be soft  scoop  it out it into a bowl

you should keep the seeds, we talk about how to use the avocado seeds,  it should not be wasted.

step three: put your avocado in a dry blender or any grinder if you have none of this, use  a mortar or anything to mesh it, I personally used a dry blender it becomes very smooth with no lumps.

Step 4 : Once smooth , spread it on a dry and flat tray , if you are putting yours in a microwave, use a flat microwaveable board

Step 5: Put it in the sun or a microwave. If the weather is dry and hot , putting it in the sun for 3 days will do the trick, in a Microwave you keep it for 20 minutes.

Step 6: Once dried, scrape the avocado into a cheesecloth over a bowl. Ensure your hand and the bowl are clean and dry.

Step 7: You will be left with your oil goodness, store in a dry and airtight container.

Your avocado oil is ready to use, yeh!
